Our mission is to educate, support and empower women and their families throughout the birth process—emphasizing birth as a normal and positive event.
Some of our Central Florida Birth Network members are birth professionals including Childbirth Educators, Doulas, Lactation Consultants and Midwives. Other members provide services to families throughout the birth process and into parenthood such as Fitness Instructors (pre/postnatal), Massage Therapists, Naturopaths, Maternity/Birth Photographers and related Retailers.
Central Florida Birth Network members collectively believe that birth is a normal event that brings with it memories that last a lifetime. We meet monthly to discuss birth-related topics and plan community outreach events. For more information about becoming a birth network member, please see our Members page.
We strive to provide education and community resources to pregnant women and their families so they are informed about their childbirth options. We offer quarterly Community Awareness Nights (CAN) for the public featuring guest speakers who discuss topics related to pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. If you would like to request a topic or have a venue where you would like to host one of our CANs, please let us know by emailing info@centralfloridabirthnetwork.net. We appreciate input from the community.
We invite you to browse through our website; meet our members, read the articles, follow the links and further educate yourself about your childbirth options. We are here to serve you so please contact us with any questions at info@centralfloridabirthnetwork.org.
